Sprezza Box Review - March 2016


Have your man feeling dapper and on point in no time! Don't let him walk out the door looking like a chump. Help him take the guess work out of what matches so he doesn't have to stare at your closet for an hour in the morning wondering which tie goes with what. 

 SprezzaBox is a monthly men’s subscription box. Each month they curate a box filled with ties, socks, pocket squares, tie clips, shoe horns, cuff links and more! You will receive 3-4 lifestyle items such as ties, socks and more along with a grooming product. Ties and socks are essentials for every man. Whether a guy works in the corporate world or not, help him dress more like a modern man.

SPREZZA Necktie
Value: $30
I love this tie!  Like I absolutely love it.  It’s silk and not only do I love the plaid, I also love the colors.  I think it’s perfect for the season and it’s nothing like big daddy already owns.

Nectar Sunglasses
Value: Per Information Card $35
I couldn’t find these exact sunglasses online, however, most of the Nectar ones in similar styles went for between $20 and $25, so I am not sure where the $35 price tag came from. Regardless they will make a great spare pair of sunglasses for big daddy and I.
Bedford & Broome Socks
Value: $12
 Big daddy has the best sock wardrobe ever and these will be a nice addition.  They aren’t super wild, but still fun enough to make a statement.
Weekend Casual Tie Clip
Value: $12
 Big daddy tends to go for the bar tie clips, but I suppose with the right tie we will make this work.  Maybe for a day when he’s rather be out fishing than working?
Brickell Men’s Products Eye Cream
Value: $30
 SprezzaBox always includes a small grooming sample and this month’s was the Brickell Men’s eye cream.  Big daddy doesn’t currently use an eye cream and this one seems pretty nice, so maybe it will work out for him.
Verdict: This box has a value of about $89. I used the values from the information card for the sunglasses and the tie, but for $28 big daddy and I think this box was a great value!

Ipsy Glam Bag Review - March 2016 - My First #glambag


Ipsy is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription box. Each month you get full size or deluxe-sized products, plus a cute makeup bag. I think it’s one of the best value beauty subscriptions and a great way to build out your makeup collection for a steal!
This is one of my top recommendations if you are looking for a beauty box – the value and sample sizes are amazing. (FYI – Just like Birchbox, Ipsy sends out many different variations of their bag each month – so my review is just one of the bag variations you might receive!)
I personally pay for this subscription and any other products on this blog. I do not accept promo merchandise in return for a good review.

Beau Gachis Paris Eyeshadow Brush

Value: $12
Ipsy is pretty great about sending out makeup brushes and beauty tools frequently. If you’re looking for that in a beauty subscription, I would definitely recommend Ipsy.
OFRA Cosmetics Green Go Eyeliner in Olive
Size: FULL SIZE!
Value: $13
OFRA’s Green Go Eyeliner is a gorgeous eyeliner that applies smoothly and easily on the eyes with a velvety finish. Not only is this pencil perfect in complimenting your eye makeup but it can also be used as an eye shadow or a bold lip liner. The creativity is completely in your hands. It also came in a tending color that is a must have!
IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Anti Aging Concealer in Nude
Size: Travel Size .11 oz.
Value: $10
IT Cosmetics Full Coverage Anti-Aging Concealer with hydro-collagen, vitamins C and K, is clinically proven to reduce under eye puffiness, while strengthen the skin. When they say full coverage they mean it! A small amount of this highly pigmented formula goes a very long way. Apply alone using clean fingertips for a radiant, hydrated, dewy glow. I will say I have my color under medium/nude & I feel like this was still very ivory, the bottle says nude.
Aphrodite Skin Care Replenishing Eye Cream
Size: Travel Size .5 oz.
Value: $9
This anti-aging and hydrating eye cream is a super lightweight and intensely hydrating treatment, formulated with organic extra virgin olive oil and high levels of natural active ingredients such as Argan Oil, Evening Primrose and Shea Butter to insure maximum absorption.
Model Co Lip Lacquer Lip Gloss in Socialite
Size: Travel Size .5 oz.
Value: $8
As vibrant and glossy as the finish on a pair of Louboutin heels, ModelCo’s Lip Lacquer is appropriately named. One swipe of the wand delivers rich, full-pigment color paired with brilliant moisture and shine. The long-lasting formula is packaged in a superslim bottle, making it a must-have for your handbag. For my personal preference I do enjoy this gloss however I prefer a stick or matte gloss so if you got a NUDESTIX lip crayon/pencil, you have my envy!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $52. That’s amazing for a $10 subscription box and actually low compared to other bags I’ve received! (And that’s not counting the value of the makeup bag!) For my first Ipsy bag, this one was quite impressive! It had almost everything I was looking for. Not to mention you earn points towards free products if you review your monthly bag on their site and this also helps give feedback for your profile if you didnt like any of the products or felt like they weren't for you!
